Product Architect and Mega-feature Program Manager in Intel’s Graphics Architecture team, Ashma has held design, validation, performance, and micro-architecture roles, leading product execution and building her expertise in Graphics. She holds an MS EE from Syracuse University. Passionate about women’s advancement in tech industry, Ashma volunteers on boards of community organizations, namely, WomenInIntel, SWE (curriculum committee member), WomenWhoCode (Sacramento Director). She is known to innovate, create and lead mentoring and leadership programs, designed to help women excel. Ashma has used the 4-step plan shared in her talk to overcome challenges when her own family grew, and to transition into a role that allows her to have a larger impact. She wants to transform the opportunities landscape, develop future leaders, and address the issues blocking women from stepping into top leadership positions. She enjoys nature hikes, is a self-confessed foodie, a voracious reader, and mom to an adorable toddler!
Prior Speaking experience: Topic was presented as an inspirational lightning talk at WE16 (SWE national conference) and received 4+ rating. It has since been enhanced to enable more engagement with the audience and drive home the ways to handle and excel during change. It was also presented at “Women of Silicon Valley” Conference in 2017 and 2018, and received rave reviews for content, delivery, relevance and usable action items.
