Open source software and strategic partnership officer
Sébastien Lemay is a programmer analyst and Web application developer for Canadian Heritage. He is currently on secondment with the Treasury Board Secretariat as the open source software & strategic partnership officer in the digital collaboration division (GCTools). He’s passionate about technology and open source software and is involved in implementing strategies to increase the adoption of open source software and open Standards by the Government of Canada.
He was the lead organizer for last years GCTools Hackathon that brought together developers and designers from across the GC. He is one of the main contributors to the Open First Whitepaper, currently being written on Github, that hopes to define the GC strategies around "Open".
